What is IELTS ?
Unlike any time before more and more people are seeking opportunities for migration to foreign lands, this mindset have given rise to exploring chances for higher studies and employment. Countries like Australia, New Zealand, Canada, provide visa and permanent residential status for settlers who are graduates in Engineering, Medical, and Software, to work and to live in an English speaking country, it’s mandatory to possess high level of English competency, to assess your language ability in all four ways of communication(speaking, listening, reading, writing) an assessment test (IELTS- International English Language Testing System) is conducted worldwide by British Council, IDP – Australia and Cambridge university that is recognized by universities and employers.
Why do we need training for IELTS?
Since IELTS test is an international test, it adheres to the standard of English speaking countries, anyone who’s able to speak, listen, read and write in English could take IELTS in British council or IDP – Australia. IELTS assessment doesn’t have pass or fail, instead it measures your language ability in terms of band from 0 – 9, 9 is the highest band one could achieve in taking IELTS, 0 confirms to non-appearing for the test. For higher studies in universities and for general employment requires an overall 6.5 band and above, whereas for medical related industries it requires to have 7.5 band, to acquire a band above 6 anyone has to take an orientation or an intensive training depending on their ability.
How do we train you?
Initially, we evaluate your ability by testing your speaking skills, writing skills and your grammar, your current band will be assessed based on the rubrics of IELTS, the evaluated excerpts show us your strength and weak points, based on the excerpts, an effective lesson plan will be devised and you will be given a rigorous training to confront the test. Training includes practice tests in all the four abilities, you will be taught to recognize tricks and to use techniques in reading, you will be taught pronunciation to understand British accent, extensive listening practice sessions to score in listening, you will be trained to speak and write to score a high band level that could help you to apply for visa.
